Salary: £23,584.29 (subject to a cost-of-living increase in April 2024)

Hours: 35 per week

About the role

 

We have an exciting opportunity within Care & Repair Monmouthshire and Torfaen for a professional, reliable, highly motivated, and experienced Administrator to join our well-established and successful team on an initial fixed term contract for 1 year (with a view to awarding a permanent contract dependent on performance and funding)

The role will be 35 hours a week – a mix of office based and home working, agreed in consultation with the successful candidate.

You will provide a high-quality Administration service to the Agency; your main duties will include:

  • Data Entry
  • Use of the organisational database to maintain accurate records.
  • Answering the phone and dealing with queries.
  • Taking Minutes
  • Processing invoices for payment.
  • Liaising with clients, their family members, contractors, Health and Social care professionals and other partner organisations.
  • Use of Microsoft Office 365
  • Issuing letters and surveys using digital post systems.
  • Issuing work orders to contractors and in-house adaptations operatives.

We’re looking for a hard worker who is customer focused with excellent communication skills; a team player who can work flexibly to meet business needs, use their own initiative and keep up with a fast-paced working environment.

You will need to be highly computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and have relevant qualifications or experience.
