Small or minor adaptations typical include handrails, grab rails, and bannisters that can be fitted quickly and are relatively low cost. Other small adaptations include key safes, sofa raisers, and toilet seats. There are many more that are not listed here.
Large or major adaptations typical include ramps, wet rooms, level access doors, and the moving of doorways or toilets. These often take several days or weeks to complete and have a high cost.
