We believe older people should have targeted support to ensure no older households turn their heating off. Over the long-term, we’re calling for energy market reform and a plan to decarbonise Welsh homes to make them more fuel and energy efficient.

Care & Repair’s Older Not Colder project is dedicated to tackling fuel poverty among older people in Wales. The service aims to improve the wellbeing and health of older people through energy saving measures, increased household income, and energy advice. In doing so, it also helps to reduce pressures on the Welsh NHS.
