About the role

Blaenau Gwent & Caerphilly Care & Repair is a registered Charity which exists to support older people living in Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly to repair, adapt and maintain their homes to enable them to live as independently as possible with increased safety, security, warmth and comfort.

About the Role:

Our current Board of Trustees are looking to add additional Trustees to our existing team. This offers an exciting opportunity to play a major role in driving forward new ways of supporting older people in Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly to live independently in their own homes.

Previous board experience is not essential. Any training required to support the role can be provided.

Meetings are currently held quarterly, in person in our offices in Blackwood. We are committed to removing barriers to being part of our team. Whilst the role is unpaid, we will reimburse out of pocket expenses such as travel costs.
