Bu Gillian Arnold yn gweithio yn y gwaanaeth carchardai am 20 mlynedd cyn iddi gael str\u00f4c ym mis Ionawr 2024. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Nid mater syml oedd iddi gael mynd adre o\u2019r ysbyty yn \u00f4l i\u2019w bwthyn 100 oed bychan ger Pont-y-p\u0175l ond gallodd Gofal a Thrwsio wneud y newidiadau oedd eu hangen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esboniodd Gillian yr hyn ddigwyddodd: \u201cCefais str\u00f4c ar 7 Ionawr 2024 ac roeddwn yn yr ysbyty am dri mis. Es i\u2019r gwaith y diwrnod hwnnw a theimlo ychydig yn rhyfedd. Dywedais wrth fy llywodraethwr a chefais fy anfon i\u2019r ysbyty. Yna cefais str\u00f4c fawr yn ystod y nos.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd gen i therapydd galwedigaethol pan oeddwn yn ysbyty ac roedd eisiau lluniau o fy nghartref, felly tynnodd fy merched rai fel y gallai weld. Fe ddywedodd na fyddwn yn cael mynd adre nes bod rheiliau ar y grisiau ac o flaen y t\u0177. Felly fe wnaethom nhw drefnu i Gofal a Thrwsio siarad gyda fy merched.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoedd popeth wedi ei wneud erbyn i fi fynd adre! Roedd gen i reiliau yn yr ardd, ar y grisiau ac wrth y drws. Roedd gen i godwyr ar fy soffa a sedd gawod wedi\u2019i gosod yn yr ystafell ymolchi. Mae gennyf hefyd s\u00eaff allweddi a golau diogelwch wrth fy nrws ffrynt.<\/p>\n

\u201cFe gafodd Gofal a Thrwsio fi adre. \u00a0Roeddem mewn cysylltiad gyda Donna a roedd hi\u2019n hollol wych.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donna Coughlin yw Gweithiwr Achos Cartrefi Iachach Gofal a Thrwsio Sir Fynwy a Thorfaen. Dywedodd: \u201cCafodd Gillian ei hatgyfeirio atom gan ward str\u00f4c Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. Roedd grisiau ochr agored yn ei chartref oedd yn golygu na fyddai\u2019n ddiogel iddi fynd adre.<\/p>\n

\u201cFe gawson ni lawer o offer cymorth a gwaith addasu iddi. Unwaith yr oedd popeth yn ei le gallodd fynd adre ac fe wnes ymweliad dilyn lan yn fuan wedyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cFe wnaeth gymaint o argraff arnaf pan wnes gyfarfod hi. Mae gen i gefndir o weithio fel cydlynydd cymorth str\u00f4c, felly rwyf wedi cwrdd \u00e2 llawer o oroeswyr str\u00f4c. Mae\u2019n rhagorol fod Gillian wedi ymdopi mor dda a\u2019i bod mor barod i roi cynnig ar y gwasanaethau a\u2019r pethau a fedrai ei helpu.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae ganddi natur mor hyfryd, ac nid yw\u2019n canolbwyntio ar yr hyn na all ei wneud ond ar yr hyn sy\u2019n bosibl iddi. Gofynnodd y nyrsys ar ei ward iddi siarad gyda chleifion str\u00f4c eraill ac mae hi mor gadarnhaol am bopeth.”<\/p>\n

Pan ofynnwyd iddi beth mae\u2019r newidiadau wedi ei olygu iddi, dywedodd Gillian: \u201cYr effaith yw y gallaf fyw yn fy nh\u0177 oherwydd fedrwn i ddim fod wedi byw yma, nid oedd dim byd yma. Ni allwn fynd lan y grisiau!\u201d<\/p>\n
