Mae Anthony yn 74 ac yn byw gyda\u2019i wraig ger Llandrillo yn Rhos yng Ngogledd Cymru. Yn chwaraewr tennis brwd ar un adeg, mae ganddo osteoarthritis yn awr sy\u2019n effeithio ar ei bengliniau ac o ganlyniad mae\u2019n gweld grisiau yn anodd iawn.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yma mae Anthony yn rhannu ei brofiadau a sut y mae Gofal a Thrwsio wedi ei helpu:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTua naw mlynedd yn \u00f4l roeddwn yn nesu at 28 st\u00f4n. Roeddem wedi dioddef colled ofnadwy wrth golli plentyn ac nid oeddem erioed wedi delio gyda hynny\u2019n iawn. Fe wnaethom golli ein swyddi, fe wnaeth rhywun ladrata o\u2019r t\u0177, ac mi fuodd raid i ni newid ein bywydau yn llwyr, ac fe wnes i gynyddu fy mhwysau gan nad oeddwn wedi delio hefo\u2019r peth.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cRoeddwn wedi chwarae tenis pan oeddwn yn ifanc felly fe wnes i ail ddechrau chwarae yn lleol ac yn y pen draw mi gollais 11 st\u00f4n a hanner. Fe\u2019m gwnaed yn Llysgennad Tennis Cymru dros y gamp. Rwy\u2019n caru tennis ac mae fy ngwraig yn caru tennis – dyma\u2019r peth sydd wedi rhoi ffocws i ni ers y trychineb.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cErbyn hyn mae fy nau ben-glin yn ddrwg – mae un ychydig yn waeth na\u2019r llall a dyna\u2019r un fydd yn cael triniaeth gyntaf. Hyd hynny mae\u2019n rhaid i mi ymdopi, felly yn sicr roedd yn rhaid i mi wneud addasiadau yn y t\u0177. Roedd yn lle diogel unwaith ac roeddwn yn ei gymryd yn ganiataol ond mae wedi mynd yn lle allai fod yn beryglus iawn. Felly, fe gysylltais ag elusen Age Connects a nhw wnaeth argymell fy mod yn cysylltu \u00e2 Gofal a Thrwsio Conwy a Sir Ddinbych.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFe wnes i ffonio ac roedden nhw mor barod i helpu a chydymdeimlo. Arweiniodd hynny at rywun yn cael ei anfon allan gan Gofal a Thrwsio. Fe ddaeth o gwmpas y t\u0177 hefo fi a gwneud asesiad, gan edrych ar yr holl bethau a fyddai o fudd i mi a gwneud y t\u0177 yn lle diogel.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNid oedd rhaid i ni dalu am ddim byd, dyna sy\u2019n rhyfeddol. Fe ddaethant draw a rhoi canllawiau i fyny, fe wnaethant osod ail relen i fyny\u2019r grisiau, a chodi sedd y toiled. Pethau bach ydyn nhw, achos dim ond angen rhywbeth bach sydd, ymyl ychydig yn uwch neu rywbeth, ac fe allwn i syrthio. Os byddaf yn syrthio mae\u2019n anodd iawn i mi godi fy hun.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFe wnaethon nhw edrych ar fy \u00f4l i mewn gwirionedd, mewn ffordd nad oedd neb arall wedi gwneud. Rwy\u2019n gwerthfawrogi hynny gymaint. Roedd y bobl a ddaeth draw yn gyfeillgar, fe wnaethant y gwaith yn broffesiynol, a\u2019i wneud yn gyflym iawn hefyd. Maen nhw wirioneddol wedi gwneud fy nghartref yn lle mwy diogel.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cDim ond pethau bach ydyn nhw ond i bobl sydd \u00e2 rhai anableddau maen nhw\u2019n gwneud y gwahaniaeth mwyaf yn y byd. Rwy\u2019n teimlo mor ddiogel yn awr.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFe wnaethon ni weld wedyn bod Gofal a Thrwsio yn gosod ystafelloedd gwlyb. Fe wnaethom s\u00f4n am bwysigrwydd cael ystafell wlyb ac fe wnaethom gytuno i ariannu\u2019r gwaith ein hunain. Yr amserlen oedd pum niwrnod i gwblhau\u2019r gwaith. Fe wnaethon nhw bopeth yn berffaith. Rwy\u2019n mynd yno yn awr ac mae mor gyfforddus, rwy\u2019n gallu cerdded i mewn ac ymolchi mewn cawod iawn.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMae\u2019r llawfeddyg yn dweud na all warantu fy mod yn mynd i fynd yn \u00f4l i chwarae tennis pan fydd hyn wedi ei wneud, ond rwy\u2019n mynd i allu. Hyd yn oed petawn i\u2019n sefyll wrth y rhwyd gyda raced fe fyddaf yn chwarae tennis eto, dyna sy\u2019n fy nghymell ymlaen. Rwy\u2019n meddwl y dylai unrhyw un, dan unrhyw amgylchiadau fynd ati i wneud rhyw gamp, gwneud ffrindiau a rhoi her i chi eich hun.<\/em><\/p>\n
