Mae Care & Repair Cymru wedi cyhoeddi adroddiad newydd sy\u2019n ymchwilio \u2018r llwyddiannau a\u2019r gwersi a ddysgwyd o ddwy flynedd o hanner o fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2 thlodi tanwydd yng Nghymru.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mae\u2019r adroddiad yn drosolwg o brosiect gwobrwyol 70+ Cymru, oedd yn anelu i ostwng effaith a difrifoldeb tlodi tanwydd ar bobl h\u0177n sy\u2019n byw yn eu cartrefi eu hun neu\u2019n rhentu\u2019n breifat.<\/p>\n

Fe wnaeth y prosiect barhau am 30 mis a, gyda th\u00eem o ddim ond wyth, fe gyrhaeddodd y gwasanaeth 2,988 <\/strong>cartref gyda chyngor a chymorth. Roedd hyn yn cynnwys bron 1,000 <\/strong>o ymweliadau wyneb yn wyneb i gartrefi.<\/p>\n

Fe wnaeth y prosiect wella bywydau, codi lleisiau pobl h\u0177n yng Nghymru a thynnu sylw at broblemau mawr nad oedd yn cael eu trin yn effeithiol, neu oedd yn digwydd dan y radar. Rydym wedi dynodi them\u00e2u yr ydym wedi medru tynnu sylw atynt a\u2019u hamlygu ar lefel genedlaethol.<\/p>\n

Gwyrddgalchu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gyda chynnydd mawr mewn chwyddiant a biliau ynni, gwelsom dwf yn nifer y cwmn\u00efau yn \u2018gwyrddgalchu\u2019 cynnyrch tebyg i insiwleiddiad chwistrellu ewyn ar gyfer atigau. Gwelsom nifer o gwmn\u00efau sy\u2019n honni eu bod yn gwerthu mesur sy\u2019n arbed ynni am brisiau uchel fydd yn derbyn grantiau am ddim gan y llywodraeth \u2013 gan ddweud eu bod yn \u2018arbed\u2019 50% i gwsmeriaid i ddechrau a llawer mwy dros oes. Bu pobl gwerthu yn rhoi pwysau ar bobl h\u0177n sy\u2019n berchnogion eu cartrefi i dalu ernesau mawr ar unwaith mewn arian parod gydag addewidion y byddai eu cynnyrch yn arbed arian ar filiau ynni.<\/p>\n

Costau Byw<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drwy ddiwedd haf a hydref 2022, gwelodd ein staff straeon am yr ofn a phryder yr oedd eu cleientiaid yn eu mynegi mewn ymweliadau cartref.<\/p>\n

Wrth i\u2019r argyfwng costau byw ddechrau brathu, fe wnaethom addasu dan bwysau wrth i opsiynau i helpu pobl wneud arbedion ariannol ac ynni ar unwaith, megis newid tariff a chyflenwyr, ddiflannu dros nos. Serch hynny, roedd staff yn dibynnu ar ddefnyddio eu gwybodaeth a\u2019u sgiliau i wrando ar ofnau eu cleientiaid a helpu datrys a lliniaru\u2019r ofnau hynny.<\/p>\n

Tlodi Tanwydd neu Ddatgarboneiddio<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ar ddechrau\u2019r prosiect gwelsom fod tlodi tanwydd a datgarboneiddio yn bennaf yn cael eu hystyried fel materion ar wah\u00e2n nad oedd yn cael eu trin gyda\u2019i gilydd. Gwelsom fod gan y gwahaniad hwn botensial enfawr i gael effaith negyddol ymhell i\u2019r dyfodol ar bobl sydd eisoes mewn tlodi tanwydd. Roeddem yn bryderus y byddai pobl h\u0177n yn byw yn y sector tai preifat yn cael eu gadael ar \u00f4l yn y gwaith i sicrhau sero-net.<\/p>\n

Pe byddai cyllid y llywodraeth a glustnodwyd i wella effeithiolrwydd thermol hirdymor cartrefi fel a phan yr oedd yn cyllido opsiynau gwresogi newydd, effeithiol a charbon-isel, byddai pob dinesydd yn cael budd ac ni fyddai\u2019r bobl yn yr angen mwyaf yn cael eu gadael ar \u00f4l.<\/p>\n

Rydym yn falch o\u2019r effaith a\u2019r canlyniadau a gafodd t\u00eem 70+ Cymru ar gyfer pobl h\u0177n agored i niwed ar draws Cymru gyfan a sut yr aethant i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r anghydraddoldeb y gwnaeth y bu\u2019n rhaid i gynifer o bobl ymaflyd ag ef yn y cyfnod anodd hwn.<\/p>\n
